Attention Neighbors – Safety Alert
An incident occurred early Wednesday afternoon on Big Meadows. Please read the account of the situation below.
Around 11am Wednesday, Sept. 9, two white males knocked on a community members’ door asking for her husband, who was not home at the time.
“I knew these men had nothing to do with my husband. At this point I was scared, I said, ‘No how do you know my husband?’ He said through work, so I asked their names. Only one responded and said Robert. I know my husband’s coworkers and knew these were not any of them. The other white male stayed quiet the entire time. Their expressions and stance scared me, looking as if they wanted to come in. Robert looked back and there was a lot going on in the neighborhood at the time. Two of my neighbors were in and out, another neighbor seemed as if he was coming home for lunch.
These two men had personal details of our community member and her family. Below is a description of both men:
“Robert” – Caucasian, tattoos, pants, short sleeved shirt.
Man 2 – Caucasian, no visible tattoos, longer hair, cap, t-shirt, shorts.
They were driving a 2013-2014 Mitsubishi Lancer, dark grey, puter color, sporty rims.
Thankfully, nothing happened and the family is safe. Make sure to keep your eyes and ears open when you’re around the neighborhood and if you see anything suspicious, please call the SAPD and then inform us. We want to make sure we keep our community a safe place to live and play!
